Love Began with the First Meeting

Chapter 1390 Extra Story 145 Of Edgar Intimate Lovers

When Edgar was in front of his students, he was serious but gentle. But if he'd ever really had to fight with one of his students, he'd beat them to death. So even if Claire wasn't their best option, they made do with her because they didn't want Edgar to be the one training them. Of course, neither did Cain.

Cain was handsome and therefore very attractive. He needed to be in display, not in training.

"When are you sending it away?" Edgar asked as he walked towards Cain.

Cain's gaze always followed Maggie. He didn't answer his question but instead asked, "Maggie's still so young. You should control yourself. Weren't you worried about her training today?"

Edgar frowned and remained silent. He glanced at Maggie before saying, "Even though I gave you that thing, I hope that..."

"Don't worry. My mouth is shut." Cain also looked at Edgar. "They're getting the punishment they deserve. It doesn't matter what it is. What's important is that it's out of sight."

Edgar shifted his gaze, agreeing with Cain. A man who was logic even in the face of extreme hatred was the worst kind of enemy you could have. "They said you would stay here?" Edgar asked.novelbin

"Maybe..." Cain's voice was calm. "Who knows what's going to happen?" He smiled slightly and walked toward the students who had just finished the first part of their training.

Edgar smiled as he walked away. Maybe, it wasn't his choice to stay here. Maybe, he was just fulfilling a dead father's wish. Oftentimes, the people who got left behind by loved ones tended to do things that they wouldn't do for anyone else except for their departed loved ones.

Time passed by very quickly. This special training lasted two months. Countless soldiers participated in training, but only less than fifty made it to the end. These people would then be assigned in different battle simulations based on their abilities.

It was a surprise that their battle simulations were against the Dragon Island and Maggie was undoubtedly the luckiest one. She could now stay with Edgar in the same place and see him occasionally. That made her very happy even if they couldn't be intimate.

It was only then that she understood what Edgar meant when he asked her to work hard.

Those who passed the test was now packing excitedly. Maggie, Monica and Benjamin were always outstanding. They would be the first group in the battle simulations.

"Maggie, you're laughing like a crazy person," Monica commented as she leaned against the bed. "Why are you so happy?"

"I'm not telling you." Maggie shook her head, her eyes already tearing up.

Monica smiled, "I think I have a guess! You're thinking that now you can stay with Edgar all day and all night."

"Humph!" Maggie rolled her eyes. "Of course!" She paused for a while and then continued, "I heard that they're going to be there for a meeting."

"Hmm, maybe. I think Benjamin said that." Monica shrugged. "But, it's none of our business."

Maggie curled her lips. She had thought she wasn't going to see Edgar for at least a few days, but then this happened. She was so excited that she began to cry.

"What's up? Maggie, don't you want to..." Claire said, envying her. "If so, there are so many other people willing to participate."

"Claire, it's not what you think. Maggie wants to go. It's a great opportunity to learn," Monica said hastily, and she then put on a big smile on her face. 'Are you kidding me? Only five of us were selected to attend the meeting in the Dragon Island. Nothing could be better than this. We'll see everything firsthand. Whether we're going to work in communities or in the army, it'll be a good experience.'

Claire caught a glimpse of Maggie, snorted and then left the room. "Be at the gate in an hour."

"Bang!" Claire closed the door. Monica made a face and then she grabbed Maggie's hands and exclaimed, "Maggie, don't you feel it? It's happiness! It's everywhere! Aren't you so happy?"

"Of course!" Maggie also shouted and jumped out of excitement.

Five student soldiers together with three instructors took a plane to the Dragon Island. When they met the chiefs of S Army on the Island, they felt like they were in a dream.

This was the second time that Maggie had visited the Dragon Island. Her last visit wasn't anything like this one.

Spring was approaching. Flowers were blooming everywhere on the Dragon Island, which was completely from S City. The wind blew bringing along with it the scent of the salty seawater-it felt like at home.

"Oh my God! This is so beautiful!" Monica exclaimed, unconsciously slapping Benjamin in the face.

Benjamin instinctively raised his hand to nurse his face, but he didn't say anything as if he was already used to it. "The tourism played an important part in the development of the Dragon Island's economy. It brought in a lot of revenue this year, I'm telling you. It's not surprising that either its culture or nature is a tourist attraction."

Monica wasn't even listening to him. She was busy looking outside from the luxury bus that Eric had arranged.

Maggie was the calmest of the group because she had already been there before. When she was here last time, Molly showed her around and she made sure that Maggie saw every inch of the Dragon Island.

Maggie suddenly missed Molly. She hoped that she could see Molly in this visit. Maggie felt guilty to her and also grateful.

"We're going to check in the Empire Hotel," the waitress said with a smile. "The meeting will be held the day after tomorrow. You're free to spend your time however you want today and tomorrow. You can visit the Dragon Island if you want and enjoy the view."

The five widened their eyes in surprise when they heard this.

"Ah..." Monica's lips began to tremble as she looked at Edgar and the rest of the instructors. "Hey, is this some special training?"

"If you want it to be," Cain said. "I'd be fine turning it into a special training."

"No, no, no," Monica said urgently as the four started to shake their heads violently in unison.

Edgar wore a faint smile and turned his head slightly. "It's fine. You can relax and rest, because you won't be able to do that starting the day after tomorrow."

Soon, all five were hyped up, excitement buzzing in the bus.

Edgar widened his grin as he looked at Maggie meaningfully. When he saw that Maggie didn't seem to get him, he shifted his gaze. This didn't slip by Cain as he said, "Naive!"

Edgar froze for a while before responding, "Well, that's romantic."

Claire glared at Edgar before turning to look out the window. Her eyes were gleaming.

Soon, the bus reached the Empire Hotel. The waitress gave everyone their room card and said, "If you have any questions or need any help, you can talk to me or the manager. I'll be responsible for your schedule here on the Dragon Island." She paused and then said with a smile, "There's a dinner tonight at the Garden In The Air. Kindly attend it."

Edgar and the other two instructors nodded calmly. Meanwhile, Maggie and the rest were doing everything they could to not jump out of excitement. "If there's nothing else, I'll be going." The waitress bowed slightly and left with a smile. But just before she left, she meaningfully glanced at Maggie.
