Chapter 38 - Crimson Enchantment
Chapter 38 - Crimson Enchantment
After days of anticipation, Claudina's much-awaited solo concert was finally here. The grand event was
being held in the city, and Arthur arrived in style, driving his exclusive Bugatti La Voiture Parfaite. He
was dressed to impress in a black tailored suit, and he stepped out of the driver's side of the vehicle.
He opened the passenger door, and out stepped Edna, a young girl with wavy blonde hair. She had
made an effort to look her best in a striking red dress that highlighted her white complexion, with a
touch of red lipstick emphasizing her beauty. She was an enchanting sight, capturing everyone's
attention.
If only there was a word greater than perfect, it would still not be able to describe the beauty, elegance,
and radiance of Edna's appearance that night. She truly looked like something divine, crafted by the
very hands of God and sent down to bless the earth with her magnificence.
"Thank you, Boss," Edna murmured, offering him a warm smile as she stepped up to his left and
looped her arm through his.
"Can't you just call me Arthur, please, Edna?" he asked in a quiet voice.
Edna smiled slightly as she asked, "How can I address my Boss by name directly?"
Arm in arm, they walked gracefully into the grand, oval-shaped building that stood in the center of the
city.
Edna and Arthur walked side by side with such grace. It was almost as if they were a celebrity couple.
They were dressed to the nines, with clothing that looked to be worth more than tens of thousands of
dollars.
A brilliant glow seemed to follow them wherever they walked, eliciting gasps of amazement from those
who were lucky enough to witness it.
A dashingly handsome man, escorted by a woman of breathtaking beauty. Edna floated elegantly in
her red dress, the delicate fabric caressing her body as she made her way gracefully.
"You always seem to be the center of everyone's admiration, at every turn, Edna," Arthur muttered
under his breath, giving her a warm smile as she clung to his left arm.
"I'm grateful, humbled and proud," she replied in a soft, gentle voice. "But I wouldn't have achieved any
of this without your kindness. I was just a waitress before you gave me such an esteemed role. You are
the most elegant and important person in my life."
"You're like an Angelic Guardian to me, Boss," She said with a hint of appreciation and enthusiasm in
her voice as they made their way to the grand and impressive building. She went on, "Your place in my
life is so important, so I will do anything I can to make sure you're happy."
"Are you sure that you haven't taken it too far, Edna?" Arthur inquired softly.
Edna then chuckled lightly, her lips pressed together in amusement. "I'm just trying to be honest," she
replied.
The presence of Arthur and Edna diverted all eyes towards them, eliciting expressions of admiration
from all who beheld the couple.
"Whoa, who are these two? They look like a celebrity couple, but I don't recognize them."
"Wow, she's absolutely stunning! Her beauty is unparalleled to anything I've ever seen. She looks
perfect in that red dress; it's really captivating."
"Didn't he just pull up in a limited edition Bugatti? I heard they only made five of those! It must have
cost a fortune."
"I can't believe it; they truly are the perfect couple. Do they come from a foreign country? I don't
recognize either of them."
Arthur and Edna, escorted by a black-clad attendant, were led into the grand theater for the evening's
solo performance. They were directed to the most exclusive seats, which were arranged in two
sections of five and located at the front of the venue. The ten luxurious armchairs were perfectly
positioned for them to enjoy the show.
Edna strolled with an expression of delight and a joyous feeling. She felt as if she was the luckiest
woman in the world that night. She was walking with Arthur, her most beloved person, and they were
even going to attend a solo concert by Claudina, a singer she had idolized for years. Furthermore, they
had the most privileged seats at the event, which Edna had only dreamed of.
Edna was overwhelmed with joy. It was the most memorable night of her life. "Oh, Boss, I'm so
incredibly ecstatic tonight," she said with a smile.
Arthur smiled in response, pleased to see the happiness on her face.
Arthur and Edna then took their seats in the VIP area, drawing the attention of the other eight people
seated in the chairs around them. All of them were men, occupying the same exclusive section. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
"Who are these guys? He's not a part of the Claudina Fans-club! Why is he allowed to sit in the VIP
seat? This is a clear violation of the rules!"
"Why is this man bringing a woman into the VIP seats? It has already been established by the Claudina
fans-club that only men may occupy VIP seats during solo concerts held by her entertainment
management."
"This man is disregarding the tradition that the Claudina's loyal fan-club members have worked hard to
build. He must be taught a lesson for his disrespect. He must be shamed in front of the crowd."
"This man has deliberately brought a woman with such an attractive appearance to Cluadina's solo
concert? Is he trying to outshine Claudina by bringing someone who may be comparable to her in
beauty to his own special event tonight? I will go to him and make sure he pays for his actions!"
Arthur and Edna sat side-by-side, patiently awaiting the imminent commencement of Claudina's solo
concert. Their expressions were tranquil, yet their faces were alight with anticipation - they had been
eagerly awaiting the singer's return to the stage since her unfortunate incident a while ago.
At the same time, eight other people who had been sitting around Arthur and Edna suddenly stood up.
Their faces contorted in anger as they stared menacingly at the couple.
"Who in the world are you two? Before you take a seat in the VIP area, it would be courteous of you to
introduce yourselves to the highest-ranking members of the Claudina fan club. I am Robin, the leader
of the most renowned fan club in this city. As a gesture of respect, kindly kiss my hand to demonstrate
your good intentions for being here." The man, who appeared to be in his mid-thirties, spoke harshly to
Arthur.
Edna clutched Arthur's hand firmly, sensing something peculiar was about to occur. "Do you think I
should get your bodyguards, Boss? It looks like we could be in for some trouble," she inquired.
Arthur moved his head in a deliberate fashion and stated, "I don't want to cause a stir at Claudina's
special event. We should let them be the ones to make a fool of themselves.”
