The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 2453

Seeing that help was coming, the security guard was no longer afraid of Frank and even taunted him. "You must be one of those terminally online types, huh? I'm going to give it to you straight—people paint us as having no principles all over online, but the truth is that we watch each other's backs!

"And it's not like we've committed some major crime, so don't even think you can throw us to jail!"

Frank simply chuckled. "So you're saying I'm not going to kill you before the park manager arrives?"

"There are cameras!" Che looked pointedly at one, only for it to explode with a bang.

"Fine, you're amazing!" He snorted, rolling his eyes. "But so what if you blew up the cameras? Can you blow up the computers? Everyone knows you're the last who came in here, so you're definitely guilty!"

Frank smiled and nodded. "Right, I should create my alibi!"

He then raised his hand, sending Che streaking out of the security room.

And as Che watched, he slowly walked toward the crowd outside, asking, "I wonder if these people would believe that I used telekinesis to levitate you up in the skies before letting you fall?"

Panicking, Che bellowed, "You'll pay for this!"

Frank paused and turned to laugh at him. "You mean you'll pay for this. Don't worry, though—I'm just scaring you a little, because killing you like this is letting you down easy."

Che sighed in relief and smirked. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not going to die!"

"We'll see."

That was when the two security guards from earlier came running with the park manager in tow.

The park manager snapped at Frank right away, "Who are you?! Why did you attack our employee?!"

Frank glanced between the park manager, and then at Che, before smiling in exasperation.

Che was right that these people had each other's backs. Given how bold the human traffickers were, they must have done it so often that there was no way the park manager would be oblivious.

In the end, the park manager was not oblivious-he was simply deliberately oblivious and reluctant to mess with the wrong crowd.

"I don't get it. If everyone finds out that the human traffickers were at large here, this water park would have its operations suspended. Won't you be losing a ton of money?"

Frank chuckled even as he finished they really did not feel

the

fire until it started burning them and

were all too happy to burn the blind

eye.

At the same time, the park manager pointed at Frank and snapped, "Let him go

right now!"

Frank snorted. "Are you telling me that I should release the human traffickers' accomplice?"

"You have no proof!" the park manager snapped.

As Frank had guessed, he was really not oblivious. He was deliberately looking away because the human traffickers had some degree of influence and would not suffer reprisals.

"Evidence, huh?"

Frank waved his hand, and the human trafficker he knocked out cold earlier flew

toward them. "Speak! Is this man your accomplice?!"

The human trafficker jolted awake from Frank's bellow.

Trembling in fear, he did not hesitate to answer, "Y-Yes! That's him!"

While he knew that stubbornly refusing to admit his crime was the best option for him.

However, Frank was clearly no saint and would kill him instantly if he gave the wrong answer.

"N-No, that's impossible!" The park manager refused to believe it.

Frank smirked in turn. "I guess you're not suited for this job."

As he finished, he called Pat Quaid and told him everything.

"That's happening in Mount Statera's water park?!" Pat soon exclaimed in shock.

Frank nodded. "Chance and necessity, as they say. The rest is up to you."

Pat quickly said, "Don't worry-questions will be asked. Give me ten minutes, and I'll be there personally!"noveldrama
