The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Frank naturally had the general gist.

Hal was a part of the dissenters, and since he died out of the blue, the rest of his faction believed that Hana's faction was responsible.

However, Hana was effectively the supreme commander and was able to keep them in line. If anything, she should be ignoring the issue entirely, but allowing the issue to fester would affect Zephyr Hall, which was why they came to find out who had the balls.

Rubbing his chin, Frank then said, "I'm basically innocent of any of that. If

anything, I'm obviously being used... Since you're determined to get to the bottom of this, I guess I should act too."

Beckoning at Jada, he told her as Hana watched, "Find out who found that tomb first."

Jada nodded. "Don't worry, I'll make the arrangements right away."

Hana was left smiling in wry amusement. "I'm not doubting you, Mr. Frankton. And aren't you on a trip? You should be properly enjoying yourself, so why get involved?"

Moxxi smirked. "Do you think he's as carefree as you are? He refuses to let anything bug him-even if there was something, he would get it resolved right away!"

Hana smiled and nodded. "Right, right... Mr. Frankton's the best!"

Even as Hana finished, Frank noticed a presence and turned to see that several old vans were tailing them.

"What a bother!" Frank snorted and waved, and all the vans spun out of control, crashing into a pile-up.

Hana was left applauding. "You really are different. I'm impressed!"

"Save it." Moxxi snorted in annoyance. "When are you getting off?"

"Never." Hana smiled, shaking her head. "It's a good idea to come along on this trip... Don't you agree, Mr. Frankton?"

Moxxi rolled her eyes. "You have no right!"

Hana ignored her and kept her eyes on Frank, who smiled and nodded.

Moxxi was shocked. "You just met her, chief! Why are you being so accommodating?"

Frank chuckled. "I've always been patient with good people, and keeping her around would prevent her from sabotaging us. Don't worry!"noveldrama

"What?!" Moxxi's jaw dropped.

Why should Mystic Sky Guild play nice, considering their power?

But come to think of it, this actually was the way Frank did things. He

cared about his reputation and especially despised being accused of abusing his authority.

Walking up to Hana, Moxxi growled, "The chief may play nice, but not everyone else who works for him would do the same! One false move, and I'll kill you!"

Hana remained completely calm, even nodding. "Don't worry, girlie. I don't bully those beneath me, not to mention that there's no conflict of interest between myself and your chief. And having him around keeps myself safe, so why would I get suicidal?"

Moxxi snapped coolly, "You'd better be!"

That was when Jada got off the phone. "All the arrangements are in place. Shall

we go see for ourselves?"
