The Fortune-Telling Heiress

Fortune 96

Chapter 96

Madison glanced at the visibly upset Megan and then scanned the live chat.

Everyone in the live chat was talking about the director named Shane.

"Shane and his wife are childhood sweethearts, and their bond is incredibly strong. When the media caught them last time, his wife even joked about it in front of the press."

"Shane and his wife are genuinely sweet together. He was at the height of his career, but he chose to step out of the spotlight just to marry her."

"Shane's fans are really intense. Even though he's been married for seven or eight years, they still come out of nowhere to insult his wife."

"Is the streamer a fan of Shane or something?"

Madison frowned slightly as she read the comments.

She then took out her phone, searched for Shane's picture, and held it up to the camera. "Is this Shane? The person you're all talking about?" she asked.

"Yes, yes. That's him."

"That's Shane."

"He's still so handsome! It's just too bad his fans were so aggressive. If it weren't for them, Shane might still be acting."

Madison stared at the photo for a moment before saying, "His marriage marker shows that he's deeply committed to his relationship. He and his wife share a strong bond, and their marriage is destined."

Megan's expression subtly shifted when she heard the mention of "destined marriage".

Pretending to offer a kind reminder, Megan said, "Maddie, if you made a mistake, just admit it. What a fraud! I'll let it slide this time, but you should stop doing these deceitful livestreams in the future."

The viewers in the livestream were also stunned. They hadn't expected Madison to contradict herself.

"I've been saying these livestreams are fake."

"Haha! I knew it was all scripted from the beginning."

"How could it possibly be scripted? It can't."

"Even if it wasn't scripted before, it just proves she's not as good as she claims. Her predictions are way off."

While Megan appeared smug, Madison's gaze grew colder. She lifted her eyes and stared at Megan. "Ruining a marriage harms your karma. It's often said that hurting a marriage is far

worse than any other misdeed."

Megan stayed silent.

"Both Nate and Shane have their own destined marriages. By selfishly disrupting their relationships, you've gone against the natural order," Madison continued with a serious expression.

Megan's face changed slightly. "I don't understand what you're talking about."

At that moment, the door to the living room opened.

A tall and handsome man walked in, carrying some food. He placed the food in front of Megan. "Here's the pizza and wings you wanted. They're still hot. Go ahead and eat!"

He crouched in front of her, unpacked the food, and handed her the cutlery. "Eat up! I've got some work to take care of at the office. Once you're done, I'll head back."

The man's face was briefly caught on Megan's phone camera.

"Nate is still so handsome!"

"This is what you'd call the whole package. Tall, wealthy, and good-looking!"noveldrama

"Maddie, what do you have to say now? This couple is clearly very happy together."

Madison noticed Nate's face and stared at him for a moment before letting out a soft sigh." Megan, you've destroyed a wonderful marriage and hurt a loving couple."

Nate Yule overheard Madison's words and leaned over to look at Megan's phone. "What's this? A livestream? What's she talking about?"

Megan instinctively moved the phone away. "It's nothing."

But Nate had already glimpsed some of the comments and frowned.

"What's this streamer talking about? Ruining a marriage? And what's this about two romantic interests?"

Megan quickly pulled the phone further away, not letting Nate see any more. "It's nothing. Just a fraud streamer."
