The Divorced Girlboss’ Regret ( Wyatt Coleman’s )

Chapter 27

The wine bottles shattered, and the amber liquid spilled all over the floor, emitting a strong aroma of alcohol.

William had done it deliberately.

These two bottles of aged Moutai were priceless treasures that he couldn’t get his hands on.

Although he didn’t know where Wyatt got them from, if he could present them, Derek would surely be delighted, and Wyatt would gain all the credit.

Derek might even consider reconciling Wyatt and Hayley.

“Oh no, my hand slipped, and I accidentally broke them,” William said awkwardly, rubbing his hands and forcing a smile.

Wyatt’s expression turned cold. William was asking for trouble.

The others were also stunned. How could William break the wine bottles? If they were truly aged Moutai, the loss would be significant.

William, is this really Moutai?” Maya asked.

“It’s fake,” William said without hesitation. “I drink Moutai every day, and just by smelling it, I can tell this is fake. Wyatt may have been deceived by unethical merchants since he hasn’t tasted Moutai before.”

Upon hearing that it was fake, Maya and the others breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Wyatt with disdain.

“Wyatt, you bastard! How could you be so heartless? You brought two bottles of fake Moutai to Grandpa’s celebration. Are you trying to harm Grandpa?” Maya said angrily.

“How do you know it’s fake?” Wyatt asked coldly.

Would Thomas, the dignified head of the Moore family, give fake Moutai as a gift? Moreover, the unique rich aroma of aged Moutai was spreading everywhere. Anyone with a bit of knowledge about wine could tell it was genuine.

Moutai left a lingering fragrance even after the cup is empty, not to mention these decades- old aged wines, the aroma was exceptionally rich. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

“This bottle is more broken than trash, and the liquid has turned yellow, obviously spoiled.

What else could it be if not fake?” Matthew scolded.

“Thank goodness William noticed. This is fake wine! If Grandpa had drunk it, the consequences would be unimaginable!” Maya added fuel to the fire

“Wyatt!” Hayley casted a cold glance at Wyatt, “You’ve disappointed me too much. Grandpa has been so good to you, and yet you brought two bottles of fake wine!”

“Are you even human?” Hayley trembled with anger,

If Derek had drunk it, the consequences would be disastrous.

Wyatt smiled. These people were twisting right and wrong, and no matter how much he explained, it would be futile,

To live, one must have a clear conscience,

He was about to enter the courtyard to visit Derek when several men walked out from inside.

“Where is this wonderful wine aroma coming from? It’s so fragrant!”

This is the aroma of Moutai, so rich that it’s irresistible. It must be aged Moutai!”

These three or four men were elders of the Lawson family and seasoned wine enthusiasts. They had been chatting in the courtyard but were attracted by the aroma of Moutai and

came out.

Among them was Hayley’s father, Cole Lawson.

When these men arrived at the door and saw the broken wine bottles on the ground, they couldn’t take their eyes off them.

“Moutai, indeed Moutai!”

“This packaging is at least 50 years old Moutai!” An experienced wine lover immediately recognized it.

“The alcohol has taken on a shade of golden yellow. Wow, this can be considered liquid gold, an invaluable gem!”

“Darn it, how did this break? Which bastard broke it?” Cole looked at the shattered aged Moutai on the ground and cursed angrily.

The others also cursed and lamented. For wine enthusiasts, seeing aged Moutai break like this was like destroying a priceless treasure.

William felt awkward, standing there at a loss. He hadn’t expected so many wine experts in the Lawson family.

Then, an astonishing scene unfolded.

A middle–aged man in a shirt, Hayley’s second uncle Charles Lawson, actually ran up and knelt on the ground, drinking the spilled wine.
