Chapter 221
Chapter 221
(Eden’s Pov)
I couldn’t move.
The thought that this had something to do with Lord Shevek was too much for me to bear.
What I saw, was it a vision or just a dream?
I desperately hoped that I was wrong, and this vision or dream held no significant meaning.
Besides, I couldn’t lose my father, not when I was just getting to know him. We still had so much to do together, and I still have to apologize to him for the way I spoke to him the last time
But, no matter how hard I tried to deny it, I couldn’t get rid of the despair I felt.
Suddenly, the water felt too cold since I had spent way too much time in it. Ithad lost all its warmth.
I wrapped myself in a towel and moved out of the bathroom.
I tried my best to get Lord Shevek’s thoughts out of my head, but it was impossible.
When I entered the room, the door opened, and Eros stepped inside.
His shirt was strapped across one shoulder, which left him bare–chested, and his skin glistened from sweat.
For a moment I admired his solid build and attractive looks, from the way he sweated, I knew he had gone for a run.
“You’re back,” I said softly.
Eros nodded. I moved away from the bathroom entrance, a little lost in thought. I wasn’t sure how long he watched me, but he suddenly moved closer with a frown on his face.
“Are you alright?” He asked
I released a deep breath and wrapped my hands around myself “Not really,” whispered.
Eros came from behind me and rubbed a hand over my arm.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“I had a dream. A terrible one.” I turned at noon. “I’m scared, Eros.”
“Of what? What was the dream about?” Eros asked.
I paused a little as I replayed the dream over in my head.
“I had a dream that a vampire was stabbed with a stake shaped in the form of a cross.”
Eros frowned. “That’s a terrible dream. Why are you so bothered about that?”
I shook my head. “It felt too real to be just a dream. I think… I think it was a vision.”
Eros raised a brow in surprise. “How is that possible? Werewolves don’t have that ability.”
“I think I do.” I said softly.

I couldn’t begin to explain my encounter with the moon goddess, but I was fairly certain what I saw was a vision.
Eros sighed and held my hand in his. He looked more concerned than he was when he first came in.
“You shouldn’t worry about that.” He said.
“I can’t help it.” I could feel Tiara’s tension. There was no way we could get over that dream. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
Eros wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in for a hug. He gently ran his hand over my head in a soothing motion.
“Lord Shevek is fine.”
“Are you sure?” I asked.
He nodded. “Yes. I believe so. I will call the coven to confirm it tomorrow.” Eros said.
I nodded, and leaned further into his embrace.
After a few seconds, Eros pulled away and lifted my face up with the tip of his finger.
“You look tired. You need rest.” He said.
In one sweep, Eros lifted me in his arms and carried me to the bed. He laid me down gently and began to tuck the bed covers around me.
“Join me.” I said and stretched my hands out to him.
He smiled and took my hand. I could see that he was better now
Just before he could climb on and join me at my side, we heard a sharp knock on the door.
Eros rolled his eyes and looked at me. “I’ll be back.” He moved to the door and pulled it open.
From behind Eros, I saw a warrior at the door.
He bowed, “My Prince, my Lady. The Elders have asked that you come down to the dining hall for dinner.” He said.
I saw Eros go still. His muscles become taut.
I knew he was not pleased with this news.
“Tell them we will be there.” Eros said coldly.
The warrior nodded and bowed out, closing the door behind him.
Eros took a few seconds to calm himself before he turned to me.
“We should get ready.” He said. I nodded and sat up immediately.
Eros and I spent the next few minutes getting ready. Eros helped me into my dress and zipped it up, he placed a soft kiss on my neck, and I smiled.
He didn’t stop.
He placed another kiss, and another. He softly bit the skin on my neck, and I moaned. Eros cupped my breasts softly.
“I want you.” He whispered into my ears.
A thrill ran through me, and I quickly pulled away.

Chapter 221-
“Not now.” I said
Eros growled. He tried to pull me in.
“We need to go.” His hold tightened. “Now,” I said.
With a deep breath, he released me. He sulked slightly before he gave me his arm.
I placed my hand in it, and he pulled me along as we walked to the dining hall.
My eyes widened when we entered the hall. It was exquisite.
There was a long table in the center with chairs arranged at the side where the Elders and Ryker were sitting.

The hall itself had chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and gold furnishings were strategically placed in places to light up the room. It shone.
I was so taken by the beauty that for a moment I didn’t notice the person sitting beside Ryker.
It was when Erós led me to sit that I finally noticed the young woman who had a smug smile on her red–coated lips.
Cheryl.
What was she doing here?
Everything went silent.
