Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

"If I were still the old me, I wouldn't have the guts to go after you. Darling, you're still single, right? How about giving me a chance?" William asked, his eyes intense as he gazed at Linda.

"I never said i was single," Linda replied coldly. "Mr. Wilson, you've already met my current boyfriend. In fact, I don't have just one. Samson is one, Jimmy is another, and there are plenty more you haven't met."

William faced her and said, "Linda, you're lying to me."

His eyes were gentle and brimming with affection.

"Why would I lie to you?" she responded, then fell silent. Ignoring him, Linda sat on the couch and quietly ate her meal.Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Samson is merely an old friend of your dad's. He doesn't feel that way about you. And Jimmy? He's your good friend, and you two get along well. You're just playing around when you called them your boyfriends, "William stated confidently.

Linda nearly lost her composure. She hadn't expected William to look into Samson and Jimmy, though it seemed he hadn't gone very far with it.

He probably hadn't realized she was Amber For that she and Samson had a child.

William observed Linda as she ate, his gaze more intense than any infatuated admirer's.

Linda set down her fork and sighed. "William, this is pointless. Honestly, I gave my all because I loved

you, but what did I get in return?"

She met his eyes, and the coldness in her gaze pierced his heart. "I held on because I loved you, but you

never cared. I put up with that for four long years.

"Four years was enough to break my heart, never mind what happened to the child."

A veil of sorrow clouded Linda's eyes. "I can't get over it. William, you have to leave."

She couldn't forget the painful memories-William's deeds, the child she lost, and his mistrust. Each of those alone was enough to break her heart.

"Linda, I'll make it up to you," William said, his eyes brimming with regret and pain.

"But do you think I need that? No compensation can mend the real hurt." Linda rose and headed for the bedroom, unconcerned about whether William stayed or went. She was too drained to argue anymore. William sat on the couch, staring at the spot where Linda had gone, his heart aching intensely. How many terrible things had he done to hurt her so deeply? He really was a fool.

The next morning, Linda got up, freshened up, and grabbed her bag as she left her room for the dining

area.

The hotel manager happened to be coming out of the dining area and greeted her warmly, "Good morning, Ms. Felix."

"Good morning," Linda replied politely. She had slept very well.

Enjoy your meal."

"Our hotel's breakfast is excellent. Enjoy your

Linda nodded and entered the dining area. There were only a few people having breakfast. She wasn't picky with food, ordering a bagel and milk before finding a seat by the window.

Wendy had booked a great hotel with a panoramic view of the entire city of Aventis. She enjoyed the morning cityscape while having her breakfast.

"Good morning, Linda." William showed up in front of her, holding his breakfast. "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Linda was speechless. He had already taken a seat, so asking seemed pointless.

"Do what you want," she responded.

"What are your plans for today?"

"Probably nothing that concerns you."
