Chapter 2556
Yesseca wanted to make a drink for Angelica.
There was a bar upstairs which was for that use.
Angelica also said that she didn't want a drink.
She said, "Madam Cowell, you can go downstairs and keep mom company. I want to be alone."
"Okay." Yesseca smiled and said, "Well be downstairs then. Come down if you're bored."
Downstairs, Selina was eating the bread from Yesseca's bakery.
She praised Yesseca, saying that her skills were improving.
Yesseca was embarrassed by Selina's compliment.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
She said, "I can send them to you every day if you like them."
Selina waved her hand and said with a smile, "Oh, no. It's good, but I don't want to have them every day, or I'll gain weight."
Yesseca said with certainty, "Even if that happens, I am sure Matthew would still love you the same."
Selina smiled.
She did not doubt Yesseca's words at all.
It was true!
Even if she gained weight, she knew Matthew's love for her would never change.
But she thought it was better to be in good shape.
Selina said, "Forget it. It's still no good to overconsume, and that's what makes us human. Even if it's good and we love eating them, we have to watch our intake because of the high-calorie value."
She didn't have any ill intentions, but it didn't seem that way to Yesseca.
Yesseca fell into deep thoughts.
Indeed, although the bread was delicious, it had a high-calorie value.
Those with lower calories were made with no sugar, and it tasted flat compared to regular bread.
Was there any bread that was tasty yet low in calories?
Yesseca had an idea.
At this moment, the phone suddenly rang.
Selina picked up.
The call was from Matthew.
There was some pride in her eyes. "Angelica is a good girl. I brought her here to apologize to Yesseca, and she listened to me. She knew she was wrong. Although she is a little arrogant, she is still a good kid."
Hearing Selina praise Angelica on the phone, Yesseca smiled.
It just so happened that she had just baked a fresh tray of bread. They were shaped in cartoon characters.
They had custard in them and were the shape of a bear, which made them a hit among children.
Yesseca went upstairs with a piece of that bread.
She believed that Angelica would like it too.
Just as she went upstairs, she heard Angelica calling someone.
et
Angelica sounded unwilling and mad while speaking to the phone. "Yea, I came to apologize to that bread-selling country bumpkin! My mom forced me to do it. Ugh, of course, I was unwilling, but what can I do? I angered my mom, so have to pay for it."
"I know! I can't get any new dresses or clothes! So I had to apologize to the country bumpkin!"
"Hmph, you don't know that she was

so happy that I was apologizing to her! How should I, a princess, apologize to her?! She must be gloating in success."
"And she even wanted to give me bread and a drink. What a joke! Who wants her stuff? Won't it dirty my mouth if I eat it?" Yesseca stopped at the corridor upstairs.
She frowned.
She was happy when Angelica apologized to her.
But she was really not pleased with it but glad.
Yesseca was glad that Angelica was willing to admit to her mistakes.
But now it seemed...
