My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2553

When Dory was extremely hungry, she often went to the trash can to rummage for food. Aimeen didn't sleep well at night.

She was thinking about the lady who gave Dory food and money.

What intentions did this person have?

This lady must be financially stable and well off.

Otherwise, she would give a stranger so much money.

Aimeen was thinking of asking the lady for money.

At midnight, she came out to use the toilet.

When she was done, she heard sounds from the kitchen.

There was a rat! She thought to herself.

Aimeen's face fell.

She blamed it on Dory.

It must be because Dory didn't clean the house properly.

Or why would they be rats?!

Aimeen decided to teach Dory a lesson the next day.

She rushed into the washroom again.

It turned out there were no rats but Dory, who was eating.

Dory was eating the food from the trash.

Aimeen flew into a rage.

That bitch!

She had told Dory to throw them away.

But Doy was eating the food in the middle of the night.Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

"Damn it! What are you doing?! Why are you eating here?" Aimeen scolded.

Dory was shocked by the sudden scolding.

The drumstick in her hand fell to the ground.

"Mom." Fear flashed across her eyes.

Aimeen punched Dory, yelling at her, "Why are you eating in the middle of the night? You bitch! I thought you were a rat! You haven't eaten

anything in your previous life, have you? All you know is eating. Watch me kill you!"

Dory fell to the ground.

She covered her head, crying, "Please don't hit me.

I was wrong. I won't do it again."

Aimee couldn't do hold back.

She threw more punches and kicks at Dory.

Sounds of crying, cursing and beating mixed. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Only then did she stop to open the door.

It was their neighbor from the opposite unit.

The person was an old lady in his 70s who was living alone.

Aimeen hated her.

The old lady was meddlesome.

She had intervened more than once when she was hitting Dory.

Aimeen knew this old lady must have come knocking on the door because she heard her hitting Dory.

Sure enough, the old lady asked, "Are you beating your daughter again?"

Aimee rolled her eyes. "She's my daughter, so what does that have to do with you?"

The old lady's mouth was trembling.

"Do you even know what it takes to be a mother? It's the middle of the night, yet you're hitting your child. I have never seen a mother who never dotes on her child!"

"It's none of your business!" Aimeen slammed the door shut.

Soon, someone knocked on the door again.

She wanted to ignore it.

But the old lady was very persistent and kept knocking on the door.

Aimeen couldn't stand it anymore and yelled.
