There was only one family by the name of Fawkes in all of Central Harbor.

It was one of the very top business families in Lovellia. To people in Hattan, the Fawkes family was like royalty, and all others were just insects.

The greatest forces in Lovellia were the Seven Clans.

The Fawkes family was in the top three of the Seven Clans.

No one could have imagined that such an affluent family would send someone to this birthday banquet.

This was a shocking thing. It was something that had never happened in the history of Hattan.

Yet, they had sent someone to celebrate Alvern's birthday. Alvern and the Langley family were practically nothing.

It was hard to wrap one's head around it.

"The butler of the Central Harbor's Fawkes family is here to celebrate my birthday..." Alvern mumbled. His legs were weak. If not for Darren holding him up, Alvern would have collapsed to the floor.

"W-What's going on? How is this possible?" Darren, Luna, and the other members of the main Langley family were all open-mouthed. They could not believe what was going on and were in a daze.

None of them had ever thought that such a powerful family would come to their event.

It was simply too unrealistic and fantastical.

'What is the Langley family hiding?' Daniel was similarly taken aback.

With such a powerful family being present here, Daniel had no clue what he could even say.

The members of the main Langley family were all so respectful to him and obeyed his every word. They had acted as though they were so inferior. How could such a weak family get the Fawkes family to attend this banquet?

Daniel could not figure it out.

Just as everyone was lost in thought, Otto led his staff forward and walked in.

"I am Otto Forbes, the butler of the Central Harbor's Fawkes family. I represent the Fawkes family in celebrating Mr. Langley's birthday," Otto said with a smile. He ordered

the staff to put down a great pile of gifts.

He carried himself with grace as he looked around.

As a member of such a powerful family, he could easily look down on everyone around him.

Everyone looked at Otto quietly.

This was the first time they had gotten so close to a member of such an elite family. Thus, they were all nervous.

"I-I'm absolutely honored that you came to celebrate my birthday, sir. I'm so elated." Alvern felt extremely emotional. He could not control his surging feelings as he spoke hattingly.

Though Alvern was taller than Otto, he bowed deeply with his head ducked. He

did not dare to look straight at him.

He was very humble and respectful.

Even Daniel lowered his head and kept his mouth shut. He did not even try to peep.

A family like the Fawkes family was worlds ahead of the Wilder family. No matter how arrogant he was, he did not dare to offend them.

“Please..... Please take a seat,” Alvern said in a trembling voice. He led Otto to the seat of honor that was supposed to be his.

There was no way that he would dare to make Otto sit anywhere else.

"Tonight, I'm here as a

representative of the Fawkes family to celebrate your birthday. You could say that I'm here at someone else's behest, It's all because of the relationship the second son of the family has with the Langley family," Otto said evenly as he casually took Alvern's seat.

The statement shocked everyone present.
