MAFIA LOVE SCANDAL

War1

Noah appeared to be adjusting the fastenings of the bulletproof vest he was wearing. Once it was properly in place, he walked towards the weapons storage room. Shortly after, he began selecting a few of the best pistols to use against the Sicilian mafia.

“Noah, are you ready?”

As he was engrossed in preparing his gear, he was addressed from behind. Without delay, the fair-skinned man turned around. He nodded respectfully to the middle-aged woman who was none other than the leader of the entire MI6 agency. Standing beside her was another woman, well-proportioned, whom Noah had not met before.

“Mrs. Laurence,” he greeted. He then walked slowly towards her. “I’m ready. Just waiting for the signal to depart.”

Laurence smiled. In the next moment, she waved to the woman standing next to her.

“Before we depart, you need to get acquainted with one of MI6’s finest agents. Her name is Julie. She’ll be your partner for ambushing and apprehending the Sicilian mafia members.”

Noah nodded in understanding. His gaze then shifted to the attractive woman standing next to Laurence. Without much ado, he extended his hand for a handshake.

“I hope your presence is reliable and won’t be a hindrance to me.”

The woman named Julie smiled. She wasn’t offended by Noah’s somewhat brusque remark. For some reason, Noah seemed more dismissive than pleased about receiving assistance.

“Of course. You can find out for yourself whether my presence is helpful or, conversely, a burden.”Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

After introducing the agents to each other, Laurence asked them to enter the meeting room. Before she left, the middle-aged woman made sure to inquire about Noah’s strategy for cornering the Sicilian mafia.

“Have you received any updates from your colleagues regarding the ambush point?”

Noah nodded. He then pulled out his cellphone from his pants pocket.

“My colleagues have just shared the exact location of the Sicilian Mafia Headquarters that we need to besiege. But the bad news is, the place is not easily accessible by four-wheeled vehicles.”

This information immediately puzzled Laurence. If the location was difficult to reach, how could they carry out the siege and ambush?

“In this situation, how do you suggest we apprehend all of them?”

Noah let out a slow sigh. He then walked towards a table with a personal computer. He opened a digital map and transferred the data to a large screen. He asked everyone in the room to pay attention to what he was about to show.

“This is the Caltanissetta map. According to information from colleagues on site, there are two ways to reach this point quickly,” he pointed at the image. “The first is to charge through the forest using motorcycles. The second, and the fastest way, is to use a helicopter and land directly in the headquarters’ yard.”

“Well then, which option do you think is more advantageous?” Laurence asked in return.

“Since some of my colleagues are attacking the Sicilian headquarters using the first method, it’s our turn to storm in using the second one – with the helicopter. But it would be a good idea to contact Italian intelligence and military beforehand to secure the area outside the headquarters. I’m afraid our targets might escape. If that happens, you can ask all our associates on site to block the roads and hinder their movement.”

Laurence nodded. She agreed with Noah’s outlined plan.

“Alright. Shortly, I will get in touch with AISE leadership to have them prepare for the location. And during this ambush operation, I’m granting you full authority to give orders and make decisions in executing the mission. I assure you that MI6 agents and the Italian law enforcement will be ready to assist you while you’re there.”

“Thank you, Mrs. Laurence, for the trust you’ve given. I’ll make the most of this opportunity and do my best not to disappoint you. It seems like today’s battle will involve many people,” Noah replied.

“MI6 is only sending a few individuals to accompany you. The rest, we leave to the agents and Italian authorities who are preparing their personnel to assist you. Now, have you also calculated the right time for us to initiate the assault on that area?” Laurence asked before concluding this important meeting.

Noah nodded once again. Fortunately, he had thoroughly planned out all the strategies he would execute in the hours to come.

“My calculations are straightforward. The distance from London to Catania takes around four hours in the air. And after arriving at Catania Airport, we’ll switch vehicles to a military helicopter, which will take about 15 minutes to reach the ambush point.” He took a brief breath before continuing his explanation. “We can depart shortly. Once we arrive in Catania, we can take a short break to review our equipment again while waiting for instructions from those who are already on site.”

“Will you be launching the ambush simultaneously?” Laurence inquired to confirm.

Noah shook his head. Despite the fact that launching a joint ambush would result in a much greater force, he had a different idea in mind.

“No, ma’am. In fact, I plan to initiate the attack 30 or 40 minutes after our colleagues there have already launched theirs.”

“Why is that?” Laurence looked puzzled.

“I want the enemy to first deploy all their forces. After they’ve exhausted themselves facing our colleagues, it will be our turn to strike.”

Laurence smiled. The middle-aged woman finally grasped Noah’s plan.

“Alright then, get ready now. You’ll be departing in 30 minutes.”

Meanwhile, a few hours later in Caltanissetta, Xavier and Hans, who had arrived at the ambush location earlier, were still engaged in skirmishes. They seemed to be struggling against the increasing numbers of the Sicilian forces.

After successfully extracting Giorgino from the building, the Sicilian forces began to emerge one by one. They all seemed to be aware that the compound was under siege. Resistance erupted, and a firefight became inevitable. Xavier and Hans started targeting their opponents’ limbs to incapacitate them quickly.

However, this attack was only halfway through. A few minutes later, more Sicilian members arrived from another direction in much larger numbers. They began to fight back, and several members of the Witch Hunter group started falling one by one.

Amidst this dire situation, two helicopters suddenly appeared from the sky, with Noah and his accompanying special forces descending. They immediately assisted in pushing back the enemies. After 15 minutes of battle, Noah and his team managed to gain control of the battlefield.

“Where’s Kaivan and Anne?” Noah asked Xavier and Hans. “Have you rescued them both?”

Xavier shook his head. He pointed towards the headquarters building.

“I haven’t been able to help them escape yet. They’re still inside.”

Noah nodded. With Julie by his side, he walked determinedly into the headquarters, attempting to locate and rescue his sibling and brother-in-law.
