I walk into her room and smile, she turns and looks at me confused.

“Okay little birdie, we have plans today. So, wear jeans, but bring a very sexy short dress and heels with you to get changed into.” I step towards her and she nods.

“Fine with me daddy, what are we doing?”

“It’s a surprise, did you choose a name yet for the puppy?” We’re just calling it boy because she can’t pick a name.

“I did pick, you said no.” Okay, so she did pick, but I don’t agree with it.

“See it as practice for when we have a baby, that will be worse.” I laugh at her face.

“One of you would need to fuck me for that to happen.” She glares at me and I laugh.

“We’re giving you time to heal, I’ve been giving you warnings of what is to come little birdie. Don’t forget, they were not empty promises. Now, do we have a name that I can agree with?”

“Fine, how about Bonkers?” She grins and me. “He is, just saying the name fits.” She stands smug. She thinks I won’t agree.

“Little birdie, don’t play games.”

“I’m not, I want to call him Bonkers.”

“Fine, Bonkers it is. Now get ready.” I walk out not missing her shocked expression, she should know I would agree just so she loses. It walk to my room and get ready ten minutes later we’re sitting in the car and I’m driving.

She has stayed quiet, not even trying to guess where we’re going which is a good thing. I have a few things planned for today. After a while, I stop outside the gates, and we walk in together. She is looking around confused and it makes me want to laugh, but I won’t.

“Demitri, nice to see you again.” Joel looks at me and I nod. “I have everything planned, you know the walk around, codes and such, have fun.” He hands me the card and walks off.

“D, why are we at a fucking zoo?” She looks at me like I’m crazy.

“Well little birdie, you did say you never went before. Never got to see any of the animals in real life. So let’s walk.” I lead her around, and I watch as she is in amazement all through it, it’s strange to think she is an adult and never visited a zoo.

She seems so happy right now, I watch her as she gazes at the lions. After half an hour of walking around I walk to a door and put in the code, we step inside and she looks at me confused. I lead her down. slightly and open a room, walking in she squeals, my hand covering her mouth before she can make a noise.

“No loud noises little birdie, you might scare them. Go sit and play.” I watch as she walks over to the lion cubs. I pick up a bottle and hand her it. “Feed them, they were rescued, but the mum was no where to be found.” I watch as she picks one up and feeds it. I sit next to her on the floor, and feed another one. I watch as one climbs over her, trying to get the bottle.

“No!” She pushes it away gently, and it climbs up again. I fight back the laughter as she tells it to wait its turn.

“Here.” I hand her another bottle and watch her feed both of them, sitting we talk, after a while we leave and I walk her around the building, stopping at another door I open it and we walk in.

“What is this?” She looks at me.

“The nursery, there are a few baby animals here rescued.” We stop at one of the pens, “A baby giraffe.” I point and she looks then sees the one next to it.

“Can I have it?” I laugh and shake my head.

“No, we can’t take home a baby fox. It was found on the road injured.

Animals in here, are healed, and then moved on.” I walk her forward into another room, and she looks at the small incubators.

“Baby hedgehogs.” I smile at her. We spend the morning there while she indulges in baby animals. Before leaving she gets changed. Then I take her to a restaurant, sitting we eat and I talk to her about random things. This is just so I can make sure she eats. After we have I begin driving and we stop outside a building and I take her in.

She is looking around confused, it’s a side of me no one ever sees. Everyone sees me as this crazy guy who likes loud banging music, and torture, but there’s a side they don’t know exists.

I take her through and we sit in a booth, she is looking at me confused and I just smile. Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

“Opera?” I nod at her word. “You like opera?”

“Yes little birdie, I may be crazy, but there are other sides to me. I like coming here, it makes me feel sane, and free. I also like going to my mothers grave.” She doesn’t reply, just leans against me as the show begins.

Hours later we leave, and I take her for food. We sit and eat and I hold out a box. I watch as she takes it.

“I joked a lot little birdie, but I meant it. I want to marry you. So this is my asking, not just telling you we are. Will you marry me?”

She looks at me and for some reason I feel nervous.

“D, I would love to but, Cal and Marc?” She looks at me like she is

torn.

“We will figure it out, even if it means you marrying all three of us. Just answer me little birdie, will you marry me?” I watch as she nods, and moves to straddle me. I put the ring on her finger and pull her closer.

“You thought I was going to say no, didn’t you?” She looks at me.

“Was it that obvious?”

“You looked nervous that is all.” She kisses me and smiles. “Love you daddy, and today was amazing. So home now because I had plans.” She smiles and I nod, not arguing with her.
