Reiner - Steps Closer

Reiner - Steps Closer

Slowly, I ran my fingertips down the side of his face before I fitted my lips against his and started

kissing him. If Reiner did not like it, he didn’t push me away. I kissed him tenderly and softly before his

hand found the back of my head and pushed me closer to him until my lips were crushing against his in

a fervent kiss. Our kiss quickly deepened as he thrusted his hot tongue into the depth of my mouth. His

tongue quickly caresses my mouth and grinded with my eager tongue. I tasted him over and over again

as I moaned from the blissful pleasure.

Our kiss lasted for so long and my mind was left completely intoxicated with him and my desire for him

after our series of ardent kisses ended. By that time the feelings that I had been trying hard to hold in

were more than ready to burst out of my chest. I hugged him close as I pressed the side of my face

against his hard and broad chest. The strong beating of his heart made me so certain of my feelings

towards him.

“I love you, R…” I said clearly to make sure that he could hear me.

This wasn’t the first time that I confessed my love to him, and I had a feeling that it wouldn’t be the last

time either. However, I was stupid and stubborn. I decided that I’ll confess to him as many times as I

needed to make him understand and acknowledge the seriousness of my feelings. If I wasn’t sure

about it before, I was sure about it now. My love for him isn’t just a passing feeling.

Reiner stared up at me with his bright blue eyes and I could tell that my confession had some effect on

him. He didn’t seem outwardly thrilled about it but unlike the last time, he didn’t say anything to devalue

my feelings either. NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

“Please don’t marry anyone else…” I pleaded seriously.

I sat up with my legs straddling his waist as I looked down at his unreadable face. All the time before, I

was the one fooling myself that I would be fine if he married someone else. I thought that it would be

best if I just got out of their way so that the two of them could have a happy married life together.

However, I found out that I wasn’t that generous and kind. I didn’t care enough for any other woman’s

happiness. No matter how hard I tried to be the good girl, I couldn’t truly let go of Reiner. Although he’s

still engaged to someone else, I still refused to disconnect with him completely and I didn’t have any

problem seducing him to make him mine.

“I still love you, R. My feelings have not changed…” I stated resolutely.

“Natalia…” Reiner whispered my name sternly.

I could tell that he probably didn’t like where this serious love confession of mine was heading but I

didn’t care. He’s going to listen to me even if I have to use my entire body weight to pin him down to the

bed.

“You told me before that you don’t believe in my feelings and that they will surely disappear…but they

haven’t. I still love you so much…maybe even more than before. My feelings, will never disappear…” I

said desperately as I prayed that he would understand and believe me.

Reiner didn’t say anything but the way his eyes held mine told me that he was listening to me and that

he was feeling the feelings behind my words. Even if it was just a little, I felt like I was finally making

some progress. I wasn’t sure what that progress would mean for our relationship, though.

“I even followed you out here to this strange island where I don’t know anybody. I’ve tried giving up on

you so many times, but I just can’t…you have no idea. AlI I want is just to be with you…” I said

passionately as I tried to hold back my emotional tears.

“Enough,” Reiner finally said softly as he placed a finger over my lips.

I wasn’t sure what he meant by that. Instinctively, I sucked in a breath and was ready to ask for him to

explain to me what he meant; however, before my words could leave my lips, the warmth of his lips

captured mine in a sweet kiss that melted all my thoughts. His kiss was gentle and so loving that it stole

all my unspoken words and thoughts from me. I couldn’t think of anything else but the feeling of tender

warmth that ran through my body from his sweet kiss. His arms hugged me tightly to him as he

continued kissing me.

I closed my eyes in bliss as I parted my lips invitingly for him. His wet tongue slowly entered the depths

of my mouth before our tongues shared a lazy and slow loving dance. The kiss felt so good and so did

the feeling of his arms holding me tightly to him like he didn’t want to let me go. Perhaps, for now, this

was more than enough for me.

“I’ll pick you up every morning and I’ll drive you back. If you work at the bar, I’ll pick you up from now

on. Do you understand?” Reiner said after breaking our kiss.

His blue eyes held mine as he made sure that his words sunk in. My eyes widened in surprise at his

proposal.

“Really?” I whispered in disbelief.

“Yes…” Reiner replied seriously.

I didn’t quite know what to make of it and I wasn’t sure if I would be getting ahead of myself if I

assumed that…

“Hmm…so you admit that you were jealous?” I asked curiously as I cocked my head playfully to the

side a little bit.

“Do you understand?” Reiner repeated his question sternly.

I smiled before giggling a little at how stubborn he was. Although he didn’t voice it out loud, I could feel

the care that he had for me. Perhaps, little by little, I could change his mind and how he felt towards

me.

“Yes, I understand…thank you, R…” I replied before flashing him a radiant smile.
