Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 94

Chapter 94:noveldrama

Julie stood in disbelief as she murmured, “Madisyn… How is it possible for her to be so flawless in her performance?”

Beside her, Bill’s expression was serious as he admitted, “We misjudged them this time.”

Julie, trying to hold onto her confidence, responded, “It doesn’t matter. We still have Anna.”

Anna, the quiet but formidable competitor, was busy practicing during Julie’s performance. She was a dedicated dance prodigy, devoting every spare moment to perfecting her routine. In Julie’s eyes, no matter how well Madisyn performed, Anna would easily outshine her.

Soon enough, Anna took the stage. Her performance was nothing short of mesmerizing, brimming with energy and technical skill. The audience applauded enthusiastically, but both Julie and Bill felt uneasy. The applause, though loud, didn’t match the electrifying reception Madisyn had received earlier.

Julie turned to Bill with concern. “Do you think Madisyn will claim the top spot?”

Bill, maintaining his composure, reassured her, “Don’t worry. Anna performed later in the day when the audience was more tired. That’s why their response wasn’t as lively.”

Julie, though reassured by Bill’s words, couldn’t shake the flicker of nervousness in her eyes. Mafelen dancers had dominated for so long that losing their grip on the top spot seemed unimaginable.

An hour later, the results of the first round were announced. Lynda and her group gathered anxiously around the screen, and when they saw the results, they were stunned.

Rosaline’s eyes filled with tears of joy as she exclaimed, “We all made it to the second round!”

Gerard, equally thrilled, turned to Madisyn, gratitude evident in his voice. “Madi, I owe you a huge thank you. I always get so nervous, but your advice really helped me keep it together. Let me take you out to dinner to celebrate!”

Madisyn smiled warmly, “There’s no need for that. We’re all friends, and we support each other.”

Lynda was beaming with pride. For the first time in years, Lorpond was making great strides in the competition. “Let me treat everyone to dinner!” she said enthusiastically.

Before they could agree, Madisyn interrupted, her gaze drifting toward the entrance. “I don’t think we’ll need to treat ourselves.”

Everyone turned to follow her gaze and saw a familiar, tall figure approaching. It was Andrew.

Lynda’s eyes widened in surprise, but she smiled warmly at his arrival. Without much delay, they found themselves settling into Andrew’s luxury car.

Rosaline and Gerard, unfamiliar with Andrew’s stature, sat quietly in awe. His commanding presence left them both feeling they were in the company of someone important.

The car pulled up to an opulent hotel, and they made their way inside. As fate would have it, they encountered a familiar group of people waiting at the elevator: Anna, Julie, and a few others from Mafelen.

Julie raised an eyebrow at the sight of them and sneered, “So you’re here too. Do you have any idea how expensive the food is here?”

Anna, usually aloof, was uncharacteristically captivated by the sight of Andrew. She had met many handsome men, but none had ever made her heart race like this. Despite her usual indifference, she took the initiative to speak up. “Since this is your first time here, you may not know, but the meals here cost over ten thousand dollars per person. You also need to make reservations well in advance. Since fate has brought us together, why not join us?”

Julie was stunned by Anna’s unexpected offer. Normally, Anna would never extend such generosity, especially to those she deemed beneath her. Still, Julie quickly assumed this was a ploy to embarrass Madisyn and her group.

Feigning kindness, Julie smiled smugly. “Since Anna is offering, we’ll allow you to join us.”

Madisyn’s expression didn’t change. She simply replied, “Who said we’re joining you? Are you all so confident in your assumptions?”

Rosaline, unable to contain herself, added sharply, “Just get lost!”

Julie’s smirk faded into a scowl. “Without a reservation, you won’t even be let in.”

“We don’t need your help,” Rosaline retorted, standing her ground.

As the elevator doors opened, both groups stepped inside. The tension was thick as they rode up to the penthouse restaurant.

Upon arrival, Julie and her group, having secured a reservation, were greeted by the waiter and escorted to their table. Julie glanced back at Madisyn with a smug grin. “Make sure they don’t get in,” she whispered to the waiter. “We wouldn’t want them to ruin our evening.”

However, as Madisyn approached the maître d’, the staff member’s eyes widened in recognition. He immediately greeted her and Andrew with great respect. “Mr. Klein, Miss Johns, your table is ready.”

Julie’s face paled in disbelief as she realized that Madisyn and her group weren’t just getting into the restaurant—they had been given the best table in the house.
