Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 89

Chapter 89:

As Kristine reflected on her earlier stance with Glenn and Elaine, regret pierced her like a knife. Could she ever return home after this? The root of all her problems was Madisyn, and her hatred toward her only intensified.

Just then, Kristine’s phone rang. It was the panicked voice of one of her servants. “Miss Johns, the truth has come out! Mrs. Johns is threatening to fire me and demand compensation. What should I do?”noveldrama

Kristine’s face twisted in irritation. She had specifically hired this servant to act as a witness. Now that the truth had been revealed, what use was the servant to her? “Why should I care about your problems?” she spat before abruptly hanging up the phone.

The servant was left in stunned silence. She had helped Kristine out of sympathy, but now, with the truth revealed, Kristine had discarded her like trash. Faced with a huge financial penalty and the loss of her job at one of the wealthiest families’ homes, the servant broke down in tears, filled with regret.

Meanwhile, Andrew had driven Madisyn to a private airport she had never seen before.

“I didn’t know Gemond had an airport like this,” Madisyn commented, scanning her surroundings.

“This is the Klein family’s private airport,” Andrew responded nonchalantly.

Madisyn fell silent, gazing at the opulent airport. It was like staring at a mountain of gold. She was once again reminded of the unimaginable luxuries the wealthy could afford.

Lynda soon joined them, and her eyes were filled with remorse as she saw Madisyn. “I know what Kristine did. I never imagined she could be so cruel, hurting herself just to frame you. Don’t worry, the National Dance Association will expel her, and she’ll be blacklisted from the dance world.”

“Okay,” Madisyn replied with indifference. “Let’s go.”

They boarded Andrew’s private plane. Inside, it was more like a luxurious home, complete with a living room, bedroom, and even a bathroom. Madisyn expected Andrew to leave once they were in the air, but he stayed.

“Aren’t you getting off?” Madisyn asked, surprised.

“I’m heading to Mafelen on a business trip,” Andrew replied with a gentle smile. “If you need anything, you can always reach out to me.”

Madisyn nodded, slightly taken aback by the coincidence. Still, having a familiar face nearby would be comforting.

Lynda couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer luxury of the Klein family. Although the Johns were wealthy, the Kleins were in a completely different league. As Andrew worked quietly across from her, she noticed how attentive he was to Madisyn, always checking to see if she needed anything.

“If you want to sleep, the bedroom is more comfortable,” Andrew offered.

“Is it your bedroom?” Madisyn asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Yes, but it’s restocked with fresh supplies each time,” Andrew explained.

Madisyn hesitated for a moment, then nodded and headed to the bedroom. She needed some rest. Once she was gone, Lynda turned to Andrew.

“Andrew, are you still considering the marriage arrangement between our families?”

Andrew paused, then replied, “Yes.”

“For Madisyn?” Lynda asked, her tone curious.

Andrew’s gaze softened. “Yes.”

Lynda gave a small nod. “You have a good eye.”

She had once felt pity for Kristine, wondering why Andrew didn’t favor her. But after everything, it was clear Kristine wasn’t a suitable match. Her true nature had been exposed, and it was nothing like her polished exterior.

The plane flew smoothly through the night. When Madisyn woke up, the sky outside was shrouded in darkness, and soon after, they landed in Mafelen.

They were taken to a hotel arranged for the international competition. Andrew had his own car waiting and drove them to the hotel. Lynda couldn’t help but express her gratitude.

“Thank you, Andrew.”

“You’re welcome. If you need anything, just let me know,” he said with a warm smile.

As Lynda and Madisyn entered the hotel, Lynda remarked, “Andrew truly is an exceptional man.”

“Yes, he’s a great guy,” Madisyn responded, her tone neutral.

Lynda eyed her carefully. “How do you feel about Andrew?” she asked, curiosity in her voice.
