Chapter 63
At that same moment, Tegan also got to the counter and she saw Brian beside Rose.
"Brian, what do you mean by breakup? Are you breaking up with me because of this brat? Is that it?" Tegan yelled furiously as she pointed at Rose who didn't even bother to look back at her.
"I told you to stop it, Tegan. And I'm breaking up with you because of your rotten attitude. I can't be with a woman that would be embarrassing and dragging me and my family name into the mud." Brian coldly replied to Tegan with an irritated expression on his face. He had been trying to keep up Tegan's attitude ever since he started dating her and this time he couldn't help it anymore seeing how she was bullying a girl younger than her.
Tegan just stood there with a completely shocked expression on her face. This is the first time Brian was looking at her like this. Though he had always complained about her attitude, she had overlooked it despite promising that she would change.
Rose turned to look at Louisa and handed both cards to her. "Louisa, I want you to remove the money of the things that I bought from both cards." She said to her.
Louisa nodded her head and collected both cards from Rose. She was a bit shocked to see a young girl like Rose possessing two Gold credit cards but she swallowed back her curiosity. Even Brian who was speaking to Tegan couldn't help but glance at Rose when she brought out those two cards.
After a short while, Louisa handed the payment machine to Rose for her to enter her pin. The pin was not a big deal for Rose because she knew all her mother's account pin was her birthday so she entered the digit.
"Young Miss, the first one is successful. I will go ahead and try the second card now." Louisa announced as she handed the first card to Rise who nodded her head.
A few minutes later, Louisa handed the second card to Rose, saying that it was successful as well.
A small smile graced Rose's face and she kept bother cards in her bag. Finally she was sure that both cards were working perfectly.
"Miss, let's these two security guards carry your bag to your ride." Louisa was mesmerized by Rose's smile but quickly composed herself, she gestured to two of the security guards in their boutique to come and help Rose since she had a lot of bags to carry. "Thank you." Rose said, her smile still remaining on her face. She was really happy about the fact that both cards were working perfectly. However, she was unaware that her smile had drawn more attention to her, and even Brian couldn't take his eyes off her.
"I should be thanking you young Miss for shopping at our boutique." Louisa said as she bowed deeply at Rose. Not only had Rose spent a lot of money in their boutique, she had also asked Louisa to remove a significant amount for herself and the two assistants that had helped her as tips. It was rare to see a customer give them that large amount of tips.
Rose nodded her head and grabbed a few shopping bags as well and walked out of the boutique. She led the security guards towards the Uber car waiting for her. The driver opened the car trunk and she kept all the bags in the car before walking over and sat in the backseat.
"Where to Miss?" The driver asked.
"Please take me to the best restaurants in town." Rose said. She hadn't eaten lunch and she was already starving so she decided to branch out to a restaurant to have a healthy meal.
The driver nodded his head and drove out of the boutique premises.
Suddenly, Rose's cell phone began to ring in her bag. She gently removed the phone and stared at the screen. However, a frown appeared on Rose's face when she saw the caller was a strange number.
Without hesitation she picked the call. "Hello?" she asked in a soft voice.
"Good afternoon, ma'am. I apologize for any disturbance. However, I'm calling from Elite bank." A feminine voice spoke through the phone.
Rose's expression still remained despite hearing the name of the bank. It was one of the names written on the Gold credit cards. "Who are you? And how did you get my number?" She questioned, raising a suspicious brow.
"I'm the manager of Elites bank. I
just received a notification from her assistant that someone had

activated Mrs. Gray's credit card, we traced your number and that's how I got your number. As the person in charge of Mrs. Gray's account, I'd like to know the identity of the miss I'm talking to right now." The manager briefly explained to Rose.
"I'm her daughter. Roseline Gray." Rose curtly told her name to the manager.
"I apologize for not recognizing your voice, Miss Gray. You might possess Mrs. Gray's credit card, but according to the funds that are in the account is qualified for our special VVIP service." The manager curtly explained to Rose.
"Excuse me?" Rose asked, taken a
bit aback by her explanation. Since the account was opened with her name she was unable to get a debits alert of the remaining balance in the account. All she knew according to her mother's letter was that there was enough money in both accounts.
"Yes, Miss Gray. However, if it's not too much of a problem, we would be very much honored to have you visit our branch at your most convenient time so that we can do the necessary procedure that Mrs. Gray asked us to do it. And we can also confirm your identity as well."Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
"Is that all the reason for calling me?" Rose couldn't help but ask.
"Absolutely ma, I sincerely apologize
again for disturbing you." The manager quickly apologized, afraid that she had offended Rose because currently she was a potential client. Moreover, she was a little desperate to bring Rose in as a prestige customer and it would surely boost her rank and career as well.
