Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1585

When he lowered his gaze to see that she was barefooted, he turned around and went to the cabinet on the side to give her a pair of disposable slippers. It seemed he would have to get a pair of female slippers ready in his room!

Squatting down, Wyatt fetched a towel to wipe her little feet before helping her wear the slippers. "Let me know in advance if you're coming over so that servants won't treat you badly or frighten you..."

That was right, she came. Why didn't he get a notice?

Had he not heard it since he had been disturbed by Raynee?

Seeing that he didn't blame her, Waverly threw herself at him with a smile the moment Wyatt got onto his feet. "I missed you... I wanted to give you a surprise, but who knew you would be so fierce?"

Had she known it earlier, she would have informed him in advance. She had almost been scared out of her wits!

A man's anger was different from a woman's. It was so terrifying!

It was why it was best not to offend anyone in the future!

"A surprise?"

Pinching her tiny smiling face, a thought that flashed through their minds' was surprisingly consistent at the moment. It was more of a shock than a surprise! Shaking his head, Wyatt couldn't help but sigh. "You almost scared me to death!" Right then, he was not exaggerating. If she had just bumped into Raynee in his room, who knew how much trouble it would have caused?

She giggled.

Waverly didn't take it to heart when she thought that he referred to how he had just yelled at her. "I suddenly missed you and wanted to come over!"

He was busy when he returned home. Although they had a meal together, it was in a rush. That night, she couldn't sleep, so she could not help coming over to his house. "I brought you a midnight snack and a pot of romantic flowers!"

After supper, she would go back!

Waverly turned around and wanted to move the flowers, but Wyatt reached out and grabbed her. With a big step forward, he bent over to fetch the pot of flowers. After taking it and wiping the water drops on the edge of the flowerpot with a napkin, they then returned to the bedroom together.

After placing the flowers in the center of the tea table, Waverly took the night snack she had packed over. She laid them on the table and then took out some grilled vegetables, kebabs, and two bowls of soup.

"It's still warm! Tonight, I'm here to gain weight."

Waverly took a bite of a kebab, saying, "Yes, it's delicious! Wyatt, you should eat it too. You're so busy even when it's late at night.

You're working so hard. You have to eat and sleep well before you can work better!"

In fact, she was not hungry. It was just that when she came over, she thought that she must not show up empty-handed, so she bought some supper along the way.

The most important thing was that she wanted to meet him, and he happened to be free that night!

Out of a moment of impulse, she came over!

Eating the street food, Waverly was in high spirits! It felt like she had returned to Laramie City. Although she brought him supper, she did not force him to eat it. Instead, she enjoyed it and was satisfied enough to be looking at him.

Wyatt took out a piece of meat skewer and wiped the stain on her face with a tissue, saying, "The room is filled with the aroma of the meat. Do you want me to sleep well or not?"

The implication was that she was there for him not to sleep. It would be strange if he could sleep well that night!

Wyatt took a bite of the skewer and looked at her. A flower slowly bloomed in his heart. Without a doubt, her presence pleased him!

It would be even better if she stayed that night!

Looking at her, Wyatt had a clear feeling that he was overthinking!

As her eyes swept over his bed, Waverly came upon a sudden realization, smelling the aroma of the food. She moved to his side and leaned on his shoulder with her head tilted.

"No matter what, I will keep you company and not let you be alone!"

Wyatt's heart trembled as he looked at her for a long time. His eyes were filled with a deep smile and affection when he replied with a hum.

The two chatted as they ate. After it all ended, Waverly helped him clean up all the tables. She opened the window and snuggled in his arms before she got up with satisfaction.

"Time flies! I have to go back."

"Waverly! It's late, don't go!" Holding her, Wyatt was reluctant for her to leave. "I'll sleep on the sofa at most!"

Waverly pushed him away with a giggle. "Then I'm not taking over the magpie nest, am I?"

Seeing that she didn't refuse, Wyatt reacted as if he had won a handsome prize, holding her in his arms. "Waverly..."

Lowering his head, he had a sudden impulse, but his mouth was immediately blocked. As she reverted her head to one side, Waverly's face was filled with disgust. "You're dirty. Go take a bath!"

"I did!" With a buzz, Wyatt shamelessly stretched out his neck.

"Go wash up..."

Returning to his original position, Wyatt wore a pitiful expression on his face. "If I had known this earlier, I wouldn't have eaten the supper you brought!"

He did not expect her to compromise. Turning around, he obediently entered the bathroom.

With a silly smile, Waverly couldn't help but take a deep breath nervously. She had not intended to stay before coming over, but right then, her resistance towards making out with each other was not as obvious as before. She knocked on her forehead, pondering on how she had no reason to resist, and sighed in her heart.

Since she was there, there was no need to act unreasonably!

She couldn't reject him all the time!

Although it was out of her expectation, her mind was indeed impetuous that night. With her nerves loosened and her guards down, she made a decision out of impulse.

Yet, she was tensed. When the sound of running water came from the bathroom, she began to feel uneasy. She moved to the other side of the sofa, got up, and settled back down, inexplicably at a loss.

Sitting down once more, she

grabbed a pillow, took a deep breath, and got up before throwing it aside. Her eyes fell in the direction of the bathroom door, along with the sound of running water coming to an abrupt stop. She slumped back onto the sofa with her hands reaching out for nothing without realizing it.

After failing to grab hold of the bolster for a long time, she slowly withdrew her gaze. It was then she caught a black pouch under her palm. The bag was a delicate gift pouch with golden patterns imprinted on it. It was exquisite.

What was that?

She was still in a trance when she smelled a strange fragrance.

Sniffling, her line of sight was slow and dull, but she instinctively closed into the

fragrant air. Where did she get it from?

The pungent fragrance intensified along with the drastic change in Waverly's face.

A woman's belongings? Or...

Her face burned with

embarrassment. Both pissed and annoyed, all her rationality vanished along with cold water poured onto her head in an instant. Holding onto it, she subconsciously turned around and landed on the bed beside her that had clearly been slept in. Immediately, there was another burst of anger.

Just as the bathroom door was opened, Waverly turned around, crumpling the cloth in her hands into a ball and throwing the pouch at him.

"Wyatt, you pervert!"

Fuming, Waverly grabbed her bag and rushed towards the door. "Next time, don't forget to hide your stuff when you bring a sl*tty woman back! It's disgusting!" Waverly kicked the disposable slippers on her feet to him, picked up the shoes,

and strode out of the door without a pause. With that, she slammed the door with

a bang.

Wyatt's instinctive reaction was to grab the ball of cloth, but for a long time, Wyatt was in a trance.

How could there be so many mood swings?

What was going on?

Did she take the wrong medicine?

As soon as his line of sight fell, he had reflexively thrown the pouch out as if he

was holding onto a hot potato. "D*mn! What

is it?"

After cursing, he clapped his hands fiercely as if he had touched bacteria and retreated 20 feet away, followed by a piece of light red fabric quietly falling on the edge of his vision like blood-stained goose feathers that were presented in a flat position.

The small triangle was thin, dazzling red with the edges and corners covered with

lace...

With a loud bang, Wyatt instinctively turned his head away. He felt so disgusted

that he nearly threw up. Only one thought came to his mind. D*mn it! Did someone wear it?

Where did it come from?

All of a sudden, a familiar figure crossed her mind. His line of sight came to a halt.

With a slight turn of his head, he saw the black pouch on one side. When he looked over once more, sure enough, he saw that the red cloth had a price tag

attached to it.

Sure enough!

It was brand new?

Did Raynee drop it?

Oh no!

Waverly!

All kinds of messy thoughts flitted through his mind. He turned around and quickly changed his clothes before dashing to the door. "Waverly..."

Watching Waverly leave, Mr. Johnson didn't come to his senses until he saw Wyatt rushing down the flight of stairs in a hurry. A black shadow flashed and disappeared, rendering him dumbfounded.

What was going on?

Did they get into a fight?

Hadn't it been fine?

Why did they start a quarrel again in the middle of the night?

Should he stop them, or should he chase after them?

With a stagger, Mr. Johnson rushed to the door. When a thought crossed hisnoveldrama

mind, Wyatt turned back upstairs. With a black figure flashed before his eyes, the

stunned Mr. Johnson had his eyes widened.

Would he not chase after her again?

Before he could react, a black shadow flashed by. Wyatt, who had taken the car

key, sprinted down.

"Shame on you, perverted freak."

"How could I have been foolish enough to want to give it to you!"

"He's pretending to be a well-mannered man, but he did a dirty thing behind my

back!"

"Leave such a thing behind!"

"Dirty! So disgusting!"

Leaving the house in a puff and opening the door, Waverly instantly came to her senses as if a string in his brain snapped.

"No, that's not right. The underwear seems new, isn't it? It's such a piece of private clothing. Even if he closed the door and was thinking nonsense, why wasn't it placed in the bathroom or near the bed? Why was it placed near the sofa?" She pondered. Where did she get it from?

One thing she was sure of was that she had not been close to the bed that night!

The bed?

He must have fallen asleep that night. There was no doubt that he wore a home robe and took a bath but judging from his appearance, he didn't seem to have slept with a woman. Moreover, how could he not be guilty at all and have the courage

to get her to stay for the night?
