Chapter 30 Sally Shaw’s Decision
Chapter 30 Sally Shaw’s Decision
It was Saturday the next day. Judson, who didn't work, had been staying at the company for all four
days after he arrived in SKY City. That morning, when he woke up, he was going to go out for a walk.
And he wouldn't drive. He planned to walk and take the bus. Wherever he would go, he would leave it
to fate.
At nine o'clock, Judson got on a bus. And he didn't know where the destination of this bus was.
Anyway, he would get off the bus whenever he wanted to. After boarding the bus, he found a seat by
the window. After the bus started, the scenery outside the window constantly receded. He just looked
out of the window in a daze...
After sitting on the bus for half an hour, Judson got off the bus somewhere and walked around
aimlessly with the crowd...
"Sir, Sir, our store just opened and we have a 50% discount…" As Judson walked to the entrance of the
restaurant, a cute girl stopped him and put a coupon in his hand.
"Thanks. No need…" Judson smiled and shook his head to refuse. But as he was halfway through his
sentence, he suddenly frowned and took a serious look at the girl in front of him. It turned out that this
girl who was handing out flyers was Jessica, who also stared at him with an incredulous look in her
eyes.
"Uncle?" The girl screamed. She was Jessica.
"Are you here on the weekend for a part-time job?" Judson looked down at the pile of flyers in her
hand, he was also surprised. How come he was so connected to this girl and met her two days in a
row? Anyway, he was roaming for no purpose today...
Jessica pulled Judson aside with a smile and nodded, "Yeah. I'm here for a part-time job. Are you here
for shopping, Uncle?"
Judson laughed, "I don't know. I just came here and I just got on a random bus and got off here and
came down walking around… "
Jessica once looked at Judson speechlessly, "Uncle, I've been in SKY City for more than three years
and I'm very familiar with it. So let me show you around. I can't believe I ran into you two days in a row. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Hehehe, it's fate… "
Judson also smiled and said, "Come on. I'll help you hand out the flyers… "
He reached out and took half of the flyers in Jessica's hand as he handed it out to the passing crowd...
"Wow! Uncle, you're so nice. You are helping me send out flyers. Hehehe…" Jessica had a happy face.
Judson looked bright and handsome. And the clothes on his body were very expensive. But he was
helping her with flyers here.
Especially when the two of them stood together, the male was handsome and the female was beautiful
and lovely. As they handed out flyers together, soon, Jessica finished her workload in the morning.
"Since I ran into you, I will not do a part-time job in the afternoon. I will walk you around… "
After saying that, she went to the store and walked out a while later. With excitement on her small face,
Jessica walked up to Judson and smiled, "Let's go, Uncle. I'll take you for a good walk today and
introduce lots of good food for you… "
Judson was helpless in his heart, wondering why he kept running into this little girl when he wanted to
be alone for the past two days. Maybe this was fate. Judson smiled and nodded his head.
Then, Jessica took Judson with her and began to stroll through the streets, eating all kinds of snacks
on the side of the road and hanging around...
Judson voiced his confusion, "Girl, don’t you have enough money? I see that you work part-time here
on the weekends too. I remember that the employees in the SKY Group are well paid. Even if you're
just an intern now, you will earn five or six thousand dollars a month. Isn't that enough for you?"
Jessica, who was bouncing ahead, had a more gloomy face, "I sent all the money to my family. I come
from the countryside. My brother is also in college. He just finished his college entrance exams and he
needs a lot of money to go to college… "
Judson’s heart fiercely trembled. And in that instant, he was touched. It turned out that this lively and
cute looking girl had started to shoulder her responsibility for a family at this age.
And he recalled what had happened yesterday. Even though she needed money so much, she had
righteously given all the money she had to him. Judson suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable in his heart.
When Jessica saw that Judson's face wasn’t right, she quickly said, "It's okay. Uncle, it's not like I can't
earn money at all. And I'll graduate next year. So I'll work hard and earn more then. Hehe… "
Judson nodded and asked, "Then, for interns like you who haven't received your diploma yet, does the
company let you become regular employees?"
Jessica thought about it and said, "The company has a training program, that is, those capable
students who were at the senior year, the company will give them a certain guarantee and
straightforwardly let them become regular ones."
Judson nodded and smiled as he said, "You're so good. Maybe you can become a regular employee
straight next week."
As he watched Jessica walk ahead, he took out his phone and sent a WeChat message to Katy, asking
her to help Jessica become a regular employee next Monday. This kind of thing was too simple for him.
"Uncle, at noon, I'll treat you to lunch. I'll treat you with a spicy hot pot. Hehehe…" said Jessica as she
smiled at Judson under the sun…
Jessica laughed especially happily. As Judson saw her smile, he felt the depression in his heart
dissipate quite a bit. He also felt funny in his heart, thinking that every time he was with this girl, he felt
much more relaxed.
Jessica took Judson around for a whole day and ate all kinds of snacks...
...
At N City, in the same house where Judson had lived for a year. These days, Sally Shaw hadn't gone
out again. She even gave up playing mahjong while sitting alone in the house. The two-roomed house
was incomparably empty after Judson and Diana left successively...
Sally looked around the house in front of her in silence. This house had been mortgaged for a year so
that she could borrow money from the bank. She knew that she couldn't pay it back by herself. Diana's
company was also gone. And now she still owed hundreds of thousands of dollars in foreign debts.
Sally suddenly said to herself, "Oh, is it worth it?"
Sally thought to herself silently, "I drove Judson away. I forced Diana away. I thought I was free and no
longer burdened. But why is it so hard… "
She has been thinking about Diana for the past few days. Diana was not her biological child. She had
not treated Diana well since her childhood. It could be said that she was mean to her. After all, she had
been with Diana for a full twenty years! She had watched Dianna grow up.
As Sally thought of how good Diana was to her, she slapped herself hard twice. Diana knew that she
wasn't her biological mother. But she had treated her as her biological mother since she was a child.
Sally had always reminded herself that Diana was not her biological daughter. But it wasn't until after
Diana was gone that she regretted it. No matter how hard she tried to remind herself, they had been
accompanying each other for twenty years, which was a fact that no one could change.
Sally took a deep breath and took out her phone before she called Lucrezia Bori on the phone, "Hey,
Lucrezia, have you been in contact with Diana lately?"
Lucrezia's voice came from over there, "Yeah. I contacted her. She went to Y City. What's wrong,
Auntie?"
Sally paused, "Oh, oh, nothing. Then, is she with Judson?"
Lucrezia was silent for a long time before she said, "No, she said she's alone there. Auntie, why are
you asking this?"
Sally said, "Alright. Alright. Then I'll hang up… "
Sally, who hung up the phone, sighed deeply. Only after meeting Bruce Hill a few days ago did she fully
understand that Judson was rich. So it wasn't even for money that Judson had come to their house as
a son-in-law. And in this year, Judson had often secretly helped them...
Judson did this because he sincerely liked Diana. And after she forced Diana away that day, she
thought about those words of Diana and understood that Diana also regretted it and wanted to be with
Judson...
Thinking of this, Sally decided to go find Bruce Hill. And now if there was anyone else who knew about
Judson, it would be Bruce Hill...
"Diana, Mom has done wrong things all my life. This time, Mom will get Judson back for you... " Sally
decided in her heart...
